Welcome to the Heartfelt Sentiment's Show Your Love Valentine Blog Hop!  If you are coming from Melissa Robinson's blog you are on the right track.  You can also find the list of participants on her blog, in case you get lost along the way.
 
 One of my favorite times of the year is almost here.  I love Valentine's Day.  It is a sweet day to remember and shower the people you love with...well, love.  That was a tad corny, I have to admit...but true! :)

    I chose to make the heart container from the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  I used the hollyhock chevron striped paper from the Paper Fundamentals pack.

The bottom paper is from Heart Strings.

To bling it up a bit, I used Stuck On You puffy stickers (so cute!), mini clothes pins (I 'painted' it using our cherry pink Shin-Han marker), and of course my favorite accessory--shimmer trim.

I wasn't getting good brain waves for this paper pack.  I went to pinterest and found cute cute cards that Melissa Laverty made.  I hadn't planned on making cards, but I loved her idea!  So, I scrap-lifted and just changed mine up a tiny bit...not much though.  Here are a few the ones I made.

What did we learn today?  When in doubt, check out Pinterest.  Also...it's ok to deviate from the expected!

And just a little 3x3 card too.  My hubby bought me some of the CTMH embossing folders for Christmas.  I love them!  I used the Scallop folder to complete this card.  Again, I used the January Stamp of the Month.
