Seasonal Expressions Blog Hop

Welcome to the Heartfelt Sentiments New Product Blog Hop!  If you are coming from Marianne's blog you are on the right track!  The new Seasonal Expressions went live on December 1, and wow does it have some fun stuff!  These products are only available until March 31!  I couldn't wait to get my hands on some of the new products.  My favorite paper pack in the Seasonal Expressions is Hopscotch!  So
Cute!

I decided to go with a layout AND a card this go 'round.  I found a layout in Magic that I really thought would showcase this paperpack, etc.  Layout is Parlor Trick on page 14-15.

Since it IS Christmas time, I wanted to show some of the versatility of this paper.  It IS possible to use this cute paper for Christmas...see?!

I used D1480 Snowflakes.  I found one similar on pinterest by Vickie Wizniuk.

Now you can continue on your journey to my sweet friend, Melissa Robinson's blog...also our fearless Heartfelt Sentiment team leader.

Merry Christmas!!

Heartfelt Sentiments Blog Hop: Snowhaven

Welcome to the Heartfelt Sentiments team bloghop featuring the paper pack Snowhaven.  If you are coming from Marianne's blog you are on the right track.  If you get lost along the way you can always go to Melissa Robinson's blog to find your way again.

If you look back on my last few blog posts you will see I have used Snowhaven A LOT.  I kinda like it.  :)  It is the more whimsical "Christmas" pack, which I usually love.  I recently purchased the Snowhaven card kit and the stamp set that goes with it is awesome.  That is what I used for the following card:
Not sure if I have mentioned that I am totally in love with our sequins.  Wish it came in every color!! The next card was made with our latest Cricut cartridge, Artfully Sent.  Makes card making easy peasy.  I used shimmer trim in black and red.

October Stamp of the Month

Home for the Holidays is only available til the end of this month.  I have loved playing with it this month!

Though I have only made cards, I think these images would be so cute on scrapbook layouts.  These are some cards I made.  Some our my own and some ideas I found on Pinterest.  Pinterest is a great place to get ideas.  In the search box I just put in the name of the stamp set or paper pack and lots of ideas come up.

I used Snowhaven paper pack, Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, and silver sequin assortment.  You can find all these items in the current Idea Book, Annual Inspirations or on my website.

Family is Forever SOTM

This stamp set will only be available for about one more week.  With your $50 purchase, you can get it for only $5!

I saw a card similar to this one made by Shalana Glass.  Thought it was so cute!  I used Pathfinding scraps and our ShinHan art markers.  The tree is stamped with Cashmere and sweet moments is stamped in Ruby.

Autumn...is that you?

The calendar says you are here, but it is still hot outside.  It is bearable, but quite warm.  This is the time of year when I really miss Oklahoma.  In a few weeks, the trees start changing colors and in eastern Oklahoma it is beautiful.  At one of our houses in Oklahoma the Oklahoma Redbud trees that lined our drive were quite colorful this time of year...bright yellow!  Did I ever think to take a picture of it?  Uh, no.  I did come across this picture today though when trying to find the right pics for my layouts.  This was taken on our back deck in Holdenville in late October 2009.  Elissa was 9 years old.

Didn't find the pictures I was wanting to put on the following layouts.  So, they remain picture-less for now.  Once again I scraplifted from www.jeanettelynton.com.  I love her blog.  She always has great ideas.  These are Level 2 which means they are completely done without stamping or a Cricut.  So, those of you that are skerred (scared) of stamping, these layouts are for you.  They took no time at all to complete.  The paper pack is Pathfinding and I used the complements and accessories that correspond with it.  The layout designs are from Magic and Make it From Your Heart, Volume 1.  I rarely scrap without these books.  If you want layouts like these for your Autumn or Thanksgiving pictures, let me know!

I am hoping for a taste of fall soon.  All of you Oklahoma people, enjoy Fall for me...and if you think about it, take a few pics.   I know there are just a few weeks still til the leaves start changing colors.  Enjoy!

Heartfelt Sentiments Paper Packet Blog Hop: Scaredy Cat

If you are coming from my friend, Marianne's Blog you are on the right track!  This month we are showcasing Scaredy Cat.  I wanted to use this paper pack in a non-Halloween way...just to give a little variety.  So, I came up with this:

I used the Happy Hexagons hostess exclusive stamp set.  I also used our cricut cartridge, Artbooking to cut the hexagons.

Now you can head on over to Debi's blog and see what cute Scaredy Cat item she is sharing!

Birthday!

Birthday theme continues!  I wuv birthdays...mine, yours, my kids, my hubby's, my mom, my dad, my sister, my brother. It doesn't matter whose it is...I love birthdays.  Even as I get older, I still get a little giddy before mine, my kids and hubby's birthday.  When I was growing up, my parents always made a big deal about birthdays (probably because I wouldn't let them forget it was my birthday...about a month before I would start reminding them.  Wait...I still do that).  So, I try and do the same for my own kiddos.  Anyway, it made me so happy to see in the new idea book that there was a paper pack devoted to birthdays, Confetti Wishes.  Whoohoo!

Used a little bit of shimmer trim, Confetti Wishes accessories, and cricut bundle stamp set.

I cut the Happy Birthday out from one of the papers and used pop dots.

Love me some shimmer trim!!!

The following three are 3x3 size.

Now...for a little drawing.  Who can't use some cute birthday cards??  Like and share this FB post and be entered to win them.  Drawing will be on Sunday when my birthday week comes to a close. (booo!)

Confetti Wishes

This is my birthday week (yes, everyone should take a week to celebrate their birthday.  If you don't, you are missing out.)  This year since my birthday falls on a Wednesday, I get a pre-birthday weekend and a post-birthday weekend.   My husband humors me and plays along.
So, my theme on my blog this week will be birthday.
Every time I use a new paper pack I fall in love.  This paper pack is Confetti Wishes (and I always think...caviar dreams should follow that).  I also used Confetti Wishes complements and assortment.  Soo cute!  I scraplifted these two layouts from www.jeanettelynton.com.  She is the founder of CTMH and there is always fabulous ideas on her blog.  These are considered level 2, because there is NO stamping.  They were quick and easy to put together with the help of the complements and assortment.

Both layouts are of my daughter's several 14th birthday celebrations.  :)

Hope everyone has a fabulous week!!
